National Adoption Month!

Y'all! It's #nationaladoptionmonth!! We have been waiting for this month for what seems like ages and our family is so excited to share our November with you. Adoption is our family story, it's Jesus's story, and now we get to wander through it with you on the blog!

This year, National Adoption Day is November 23rd, and I'm sure your feed will be flooded with stories of families made whole, and broken people who are becoming mended. We love this so much, and we will hopefully get to join the masses on this day to declare our three new family members finally Welshes! Please pray with us that our finalization remains on track for this particular date and that you will get to celebrate with us then as well. Also, November is my birthday month and if you know me personally, you know the birthdays over here are a big deal. This blog will be all about the celebrations this month and come one, come all! It's going to be a great one!

In order to commemorate this special month I will be doing a series of posts throughout the weeks that will tell the story of our adoption. You'll get to meet Dan and I way in the way back (as they say), and see how God walked us to this point in our lives. I'll also be highlighting different types of adoption so that you can navigate the different categories in your own lives, while also debunking some misconceptions and highlighting some resources for each of the different adoption categories.
